Maruti Suzuki offering BIG discounts on Nexa cars: Baleno to Ciaz

India’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has now re-started production and has also reopened around 600 dealerships across the country. Every manufacturer in the country was badly affected with this nationwide Corona Virus lockdown and is currently facing difficulties to sell cars. In order to bring in more confidence among buyers, manufacturers are coming up with new schemes, deferred EMI options and discounts on their models. Maruti Suzuki is also offering a discount on their models sold via Nexa dealerships for the month of May 2020.

Ignis

Maruti Ignis Facelift 1

It is the entry level model sold via Nexa dealership and recently got an updated BS6 engine with minor cosmetic changes. It was launched at the Auto Expo earlier this year and is available with a 1.2 litre petrol engine. Maruti is currently offering a cash discount of Rs 20,000 along with an exchange bonus worth Rs 15,000 on the base Sigma variant. Delta, Zeta and Alpha variants get a maximum cash discount of Rs 10,000 and exchange bonus of Rs 15,000.

Baleno

Baleno 3

Baleno was the first car in Maruti Suzuki stable to get a BS6 compliant engine. It competes with cars like Hyundai Elite i20, Honda Jazz in the premium hatchback segment. Just like the Ignis, the Baleno’s Sigma variant is also being offered with a cash discount of Rs 20,000 and exchange bonus of Rs 15,000. Delta, Zeta and Alpha trims get Rs 15,000 cash discount and Rs 15,000 exchange bonus.

Ciaz

Maruti Ciaz 1.5 Diesel 1

Ciaz is a mid-size sedan that competes with cars like Honda City, Hyundai Verna in the segment. It is powered by a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine only. Just like all other Maruti cars, diesel option was discontinued. The engine is available with a manual and automatic gearbox optiosn. Sigma, Delta and Zeta variants are being offered with a cash discount of Rs 10,000 and Rs 20,000 exchange bonus. The top-end Alpha trim gets exchange bonus worth Rs 20,000 only.

Maruti XL6

XL6 is one of the latest offering in the Nexa line up and is a more premium version of the regular Ertiga MPV. It is available with the same 1.5 litre petrol engine with both manual and 4-speed automatic transmission. It is currently being offered with an exchange bonus worth Rs 10,000.

Maruti S Cross Petrol 2

Apart from these offers, Maruti will soon be launching a BS6 complaint petrol version of the S-Cross which will be powered by the same engine as seen in Ciaz, XL6, Ertiga and Brezza. An additional corporate discount of Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 is also available on Nexa models this month.
