The legendary brand JAWA is back
Back in the '90s were fond of the motorcycle but some bikes were so admiring that we always wanted to own it anyhow and there comes the JAWA
The old school with a single lever which ones started turns into the gear lever and when you roll it out it gives you mind-blowing sound that every person on roads turn head back just to have a glance what is it actually ??
Because these two exhaust pipe coming out of the engine was the most fantastic thing to notice
Now Mahindra has taken the market and introduced us JAWA with three different models at launch including -
Jawa Perak
Jawa Fourty Two
Jawa Standard
Now the main concern exists, Is this is the same blood we always wanted to taste in the past?
folks who all are seeking old Jawa now have the option to own the new one but can we rely on this machine as previous?
these are the points we should think over before making any statement on Jawa
cause the reason people love Jawa before was Reliability, Comfort, Durability and most importantly the POWER and joy of riding
going through the articles and interview of Anand Mahindra I became to know that he really put emphasis on offering what Jawa delivers and researched thoroughly before any making
Yet I was not convinced with this and waited till the launched of products, drive the name of legendary Jawa to know in reality that is this the same thing we always wanted
ANd YESSSS Mahindra did it wonderfully the Jawa is here now in new AVATAR
carrying all the retro-ness and bringing it into modern technology was not that easy as it sounds but fortunately, Mahindra did it. that bold look with upfront speedometer and curvy engine design stretching out dual exhaust pipe till the length is something reminds us about old school Jawa
AND HERE WE GET IT IN NEW SHAPE
this all-new Jawa Standard and Jawa 42 have some minor difference like the speedometer and headlight covered in mask and in 42 headlamps is placed forward also speedometer is placed on the right side which gives it bobber looks moving further engines specifications is same in both of the bikes however color options are different in both the models
Engine Specification: Engine displacement - 293CC single-cylinder DOHC liquid-cooled engine complies with bs6 norms moreover offer 27PS of power and 28Nm of torque with a 6-speed gearbox
I am personally mentioning some points which should be covered -
Ride Quality - the sitting posture is a lot more comfortable and the engine is so responsive and calm that you would love riding it all time
Body Balance - Weighting 170Kg and properly distributed weight is the key to good ride quality and comfort, this new Jawa design in dual cradle chassis which deliver great body balance in every condition
Breaking - Breaking is safe and both single-channel and dual-channel abs options are available
Look - Combination of retro look and modern design this new Jawa is eye-catching and seriously impressive
Pros - Cons -
Look Incorrect angle in the placement of speedometer
Performance it delivers Parts quality should be improved
Ride quality Ground clearance should be more
Comfort Seat cushioning is very disappointing
Body structure Abit high pricing
Power delivery
Both bikes demand you to spend near about 2 Lakh rupees however Jawa 42 is 10 thousand cheaper than the standard variant
So finally, we got the JAWA, but is it really a good buy?
I would say BIG YES !!
before this machine if we really wanted to buy something rugged, tough, wild and bold. we use to step in ROYAL ENFIELD, Now the scene is changed and an old giant is back in the market with tons of updates and fantastic look
definitely, Jawa is a valid game-changer however every person is different so the bikes
If this New JAWA fulfill your purpose then why to waste time anywhere else
