One of the recent launches from Hyundai in India is the all-new Creta mid-size SUV. The new Creta is an all-new SUV in comparison to the outgoing model. The Hyundai looks entirely different and is based on a platform derived from Kia Seltos. The all-new Creta has already reached dealerships and delivery for the same has also started. Here we have a video that shows a how the all-new Hyundai Creta with the 1.5 litre petrol engine feel to drive.
The video has been uploaded by The Car Guide – Rishabh Arora on his youtube channel. The video starts by showing a base EX model of the Creta. The Creta looks pretty good in the Phantom Black paint job. The video gets into the drive part and the vlogger was pretty impressed with the Noice, Vibrations and Harshness levels of the new Hyundai. The cabin felt well insulated on the inside and according to the video one will have to look at the tachometer to make sure that the car is turned on.
The Creta had a good ride quality, and the suspension is on the softer side and glides over broken patches very smoothly. The steering according to the video felt pretty light in city traffic and weighs up when it is doing higher speeds. The power and acceleration was good for both city and highways. The power delivery was quite linear in comparison to the other two engine options. The Creta litre petrol does not feel under powered at any point.
The video also talks about the features that the base EX trim of the Creta comes with. On the outside it gets features like split LED DRL that are shaped like a boomerang. It gets projector headlamp even in the base trim. The base trim even gets features like 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and other features.
The new Creta in this video is powered a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 115 bhp and 144 nm of torque. The base trim is available with a manual transmission whereas the higher trims get a CVT gearbox option too. The Other engine option include a 1.5 llitre diesel and a 1.4 litre turbo petrol engine that is available with an automatic and DCT gearbox respectively.
