Mahindra Bolero BS6 in a walkaround video

Mahindra Bolero has been one of the most popular MUV and has been popular among buyers because of its rugged looks, torquey engine and practicality. It is one of the reason why Mahindra is still selling the Bolero to customers both from rural and urban areas. Just like any other manufacturer Mahindra also needs to update their vehicles in the market to meet the upcoming emission norms. Earlier they had launched XUV300 petrol with a BS6 engine and now here we have the BS6 version of the good old work horse Mahindra Bolero.

The video has been uploaded by Auto Gear India on their youtube channel. The video shows a quick walkaround of the new BS6 version of the Mahindra Bolero that is yet to be launched. The video starts by showing the front of the Bolero. This is one of the area where Mahindra has put in more effort. They have tried their best to give the front end a fresh look without losing the Bolero identity. The Headlamp have the same shape but the design inside has slight changes to it. The grille has been changed in comparison to the BS4 versions. The bumper has also been redesigned. It now gets a body coloured skid plate shaped insert at the bottom of the bumper with fog lamps on both sides with black garnish around them.

Side profile of the BS6 Bolero remains the same. It gets the same steel wheels, side steps, body colour ORVM, decals, wheel arches on the side. At the rear also, the design remains the same with the only change being the new tail lamp units and the rear parking sensor which had become compulsory as per the new safety norms. Bolero BS6 gets a new key fob and the interior quality has also been improved. The steering wheel is new and it gets other features like a regular music system with bluetooth connectivity feature.

The version names of the Bolero BS6 has also been changed from LX, SLE, SLX & ZLX to B4, B6 and B6(O). Prices for the Bolero BS6 will definitely increase because of the updates.
