What the Maruti Swift can be transformed into [Video]
Maruti Suzuki Swift is one of the most popular hatchbacks in the country. It is one of those hatchbacks that people in our country love to customise extensively. We have seen many examples of tastefully modified Swift hatchbacks in the country. Some of them opt for wild looking body kits whereas some go for the interior revamp. There are some who go for both and even try upgrading the power of this small peppy hatchback. Swift has been in the country for a while now and currently we have the third generation of the hatchback with us. Here we have a video that shows a rendered image of a modified Maruti Swift.
The video has been uploaded by SRK Designs on their youtube channel. The video starts by showing a regular Maruti Suzuki Swift. First thing changed on this car is the front. The grille has been completely removed and replaced with an even more wider grille with white colour strip that says ‘Suzuki’ on it. The fog lamp area of the Swift is also a part of the new grille now the new angel ring like LED DRL are placed on both the ends.
There is a black colour lip spoiler on the bottom side of the front bumper and even the bonnet has been redesigned and now comes with a scoop on it. The bonnet also gets a lack finish now. The whole car gets a black and white combination on the outside. The roof, A, B and C Pillars, ORVMs all get a black finish. On the side profile noticeable change is the new copper finish alloy wheels with black wheels arches. There is also a side skirt added to give it more of a sporty look. Apart from these changes everything else remains the same as that of a stock Maruti Suzuki Swift.
This is just a render but there is a possibility that we might see such wild looking modifications on Swift in the future. The Swift ever since its launch has been sold with a petrol and diesel engine. But things will soon change with the BS6 update. Maruti Suzuki will be discontinuing the diesel engine and Swift will only be sold with a petrol engine from next month onwards. The car is quite fun to drive with the 1.2 liter petrol engine and manual gearbox combination. The AMT variant is competent for sedate driving, and comes with a manual mode for urgent overtaking moves/sportier driving.
