2020 Hyundai Verna BS6 Facelift: First look video

Hyundai recently launched the facelifted version of the Verna sedan in the market. It competes with cars like Maruti Ciaz, Honda City and Skoda Rapid in the segment. It is one the best looking sedans in the segment and with the new facelift it looks even more premium than before. The price for the facelifted Hyundai Verna starts at Rs 9.3 lakh, ex-showroom and Hyundai has started accepting bookings for the same. Here we have a video of the 2020 Hyundai Verna that shows what all has changed in the facelift.
The video has been uploaded by Indian Torque youtube channel. The video starts by showing the exterior of the car. On the outside, the car gets number of changes. The 2020 Hyundai Verna gets an even more wider grille than before. The grille gets smoked chrome treatment with Hyundai logo in the centre. The bumper has been redesigned and gets projector type fog lamps. The lower part of the bumper gets a lip with chrome garnish on it. The headlights have also been redesigned and now get all-LED headlamps with LED DRLs integrated in it for the top-end trim.
Coming to the side profile of the 2020 Verna, the design looks similar to the outgoing version. The design of the alloy wheels have changed and give it a more premium and sporty look. At the rear there are couple of changes too. Just like at the front, the bumper at the rear has been redesigned and the boot also gets slight changes. Apart from that pretty much everything remains same as that of the 2019 version.

On the inside, the Verna gets a dual tone interior with features like ventilated seats, touchscreen infotainment system, BlueLink connected car feature, wireless charger, multi function steering wheel and so on.  The Verna is also available with a turbo petrol engine option and the interior of that version gets an all black theme with red stitching to give it a sporty feel.
Verna 2020 is available with three engine options. A 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol generating 113 Bhp and 144 Nm of torque. A 1.5 litre diesel engine that produces 113 Bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque and 1.0 litre turbocharged petrol engine that generates 118 Bhp and 172 Nm of torque. Both 1.5 petrol and diesel engine are available with a manual or an automatic gearbox (CVT & torque converter respectively) whereas the 1.0 litre turbo petrol is only available with a DCT gearbox. The Verna will officially go on sale after the lockdown ends.
