Hyundai Venue 7 seater: What it could look like

Hyundai Venue is one of the most popular SUV in the sub-4 meter compact SUV segment. It competes with cars like Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and Ford EcoSport in the segment. It was launched in the Indian market last year and became a hit instantly. The main reason behind the popularity was the looks and features it offered. Some of the features were even segment first. What if Hyundai decides to bring in a seven seater version of this sub-4 meter compact SUV?. What would it look like? Well, that is what exactly the render video below shows.

The video has been uploaded by NM Tunes on their youtube channel. The video starts by extending the rear of the Venue to accommodate, last row of seats. The length of the vehicle has increased but the wheelbase remains the same. It is simply like an extension of the regular Venue with 3 row of seats. The tail light has been completely redesigned and the floating roof design continues with blacked out windows for the third row passenger. It’s essentially a stretched out version of the ultra popular, mini SUV.
At the front, Venue get minor changes on the bumper. The regular fog lamp that are seen on the Venue has been replaced with a unit similar to the one seen on older generation Hyundai Creta. The bumper looks more sharp than before with skid plate on the bottom of the bumper. Apart from that pretty much everything remains the same as that of the regular Venue.


It gets the same wide cascading grille at the front with chrome garnish in it. The uniquely placed headlight unit with DRLs around it. The machine cut alloy wheels, blacked out roof all gives it a good look. If Hyundai ever decides to make a seven seater version of the Venue, they will definitely make sure that the car is feature loaded.

If built, it’s likely to get almost all the features that Venue currently comes and will also provide some premium features that are currently available in pricier Hyundais. Venue is powered by a 1.2 litre petrol, 1.5 litre turbo diesel and a 1.0 litre turbocharged petrol engine. all the engines are now BS6 compliant. Only the 1.0 litre turbo petrol unit gets DCT gearbox as an option along with a manual transmission. The diesel engine now makes more torque, and is borrowed from the all-new Creta.
