Hyundai Venue: Owner explains good and not-so-good bits on video

Hyundai Venue is one of the most popular SUV in the sub-4 meter compact SUV segment. It was launched in 2019 and quickly gained popularity among buyers due to various reasons. It is one of the best selling cars in the segment and competes with cars like Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and Ford EcoSport in the segment. The Hyundai Venue is now a very common sight on our roads and here we have an ownership video that explains the things that the owner likes and dislikes about his Hyundai Venue.

The video has been uploaded by WanderSane on his youtube channel. In the video the vlogger basically talks about all the bits that he liked about the car along with some that he did not like or wanted some improvement. The video starts by sharing the bad bits. The Venue here in the video is a 1.0 litre, 3 cylinder, turbo petrol version with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The first thing that the owner did not like about the car is the gearbox. According to the vlogger, the gearbox is meant for highways and not city as the driver has to constantly shift between the first three gears in city conditions.

Second thing is the headlights. Vlogger felt that the headlights do not have enough throw to them. He had similar thoughts about the fog lamps too and tells on video that will be upgrading to an LED setup soon. Apart from that he had suggestions like improving the instrument cluster look, trip meter set up and overspeeding beep which comes live once the car crosses 80 kmph and 120 kmph mark.

Those were the not so good bits and now coming to the good part, vlogger loves the level of refinment in the Hyundai Venue. The other things that he loved about the car are light weight steering, looks, power delivery, 16 inch diamond cut alloy wheels and the host of features that the Venue offers. Overall the owner is pretty happy with the car.

Hyundai Venue Ownership Review Featured

Hyundai recently updated the Venue to meet the BS6 emission norms and the 1.4 litre diesel that used to come with Venue has been replaced with a 1.5 litre unit. The bigger motor is borrowed from the 2020 Hyundai Creta but is detuned for use in the BS6 Venue. The SUV continues to be offered with the 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, and the 1 liter-3 cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, both of which meet Bharat Stage 6 emission norms.
