Due to the ongoing Corona virus pandemic situation in the country, almost every manufacturer is finding it difficulties in selling vehicles. Hyundai who is the second largest car manufacturer in the country is also going through a similar phase and have now come up with offers to encourage the sales on their select BS6 models. The offer is applicable for buyers who are medical personnel, teachers, chartered accountants or corporate employees. The Santro hatchback was relaunched in the market in 2018 and is the entry level offering from the brand. It is powered by a 1.1 litre petrol engine that generates 69 Bhp. The engine is available with a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. In comparison to its older version, the new-gen Santro had not been that popular among buyers. Hyundai is currently offering a maximum discount of Rs 43,000 on this entry level hatchback.

Hyundai recently updated the Grand 10 hatchback to meet the BS6 norms. With BS6 updates, Hyundai has discontinued the diesel engine and is now available with a BS6 complaint 1.2 litre petrol engine only. The engine generates a maximum of 83 Bhp and is currently attracting benefits of up to Rs 48,000.

The current version of the i20 was recently updated to meet the BS6 norms and is currently offered with a petrol engine only. Hyundai will soon update the i20 with a BS6 complaint 1.5 litre diesel engine in the coming months. The petrol version is now available with a discount of up to Rs 38,000.

The Elantra will soon get a 1.5 litre diesel engine too. The petrol BS6 version of Elantra is now attracting a maximum discount of Rs 1.03 lakh.
