Honda car discounts for the month of May 2020

Every car manufacturer in the country is having a hard time selling vehicles due to the current Corona virus pandemic situation. Japanese manufacturer Honda cars had lined up couple of launches for our market but had to put them on hold due to the ongoing situation. Honda is now offering discounts on some of their models that are complaint with new BS6 emission norms.

Honda Amaze

Honda Amaze is now the entry level offering from Honda after Brio hatchback got discontinued. Honda recently updated Amaze with a BS6 compliant engine and is offered in both petrol and diesel engine options. It competes with cars like Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura, Xcent and Tata Tigor in the segment. Amaze is the best selling car for Japanese manufacturer in Indian market. Honda is offering two different options for buyers who plan to buy Amaze sedan.

In first option buyers get a 5 year warranty and Rs 20,000 exchange bonus. Second option without any exchange bonus offers 5 year warranty along with a 3 year AMC pack at 50 percent cost.

Honda City

Honda was all set to launch the next-generation City in the Indian market earlier this year but, it got delayed because of the ongoing crisis. Honda had updated the petrol version of existing City to meet the BS6 emission norms. The current generation City is available with a 1.5 litre BS6 compliant petrol engine generating 117 Bhp and 145 Nm of torque. Honda is offering discounts on Honda City depending up on the variant.

Honda City Vx (CVT) and Zx (CVT) and Zx (manual) are offered with a cash discount of Rs 50,000 along with an exchange bonus worth Rs 50,000. The Vx trim is offered with a maximum cash discount of Rs 37,000 and an exchange bonus worth Rs 35,000. Similarly SV and V are offered with Rs 25,000 cash discount along with exchange bonus worth Rs 20,000.

Honda will soon launch 3 cars: the facelifted BS6 version of Jazz premium hatchback, WR-V BS6, and the BS6 compliant petrol version of Honda Civic and their flagship SUV – the 7 seat CR-V. Honda has started taking bookings for these vehicles and will be launching it soon once the lockdown in the country is removed. The Japanese automaker is also said to be working on a brand new sub-4 mter compact SUV for the Indian market. Known as the ZR-V, the new Honda compact SUV wll go up against the Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue and other sub-4 meter SUVs sold in India.
