MV Agusta Superveloce 800 gets 2 new colour options

  • MV Agusta Superveloce 800 gets two new colours – Red/Silver and Black/Grey

  • Frame and wheels finished in gold colour

  • New liveries are based on feedback from MV Agusta fans

MV Agusta has announced that the ‘regular’ version of the Superveloce 800 motorcycle will be available in new colour options – Ago Red/Ago Silver and Metallic Carbon Black/Dark Metallic Matt Grey.

The Italian manufacturer has said that the new liveries were introduced after feedback from “its biggest critic: MV Agusta’s fans.” Adrian Morton, Design Director at MV Agusta’s Research Center, confirms this customer-oriented approach, saying, “Following the presentation of the Superveloce 800 in Milano, we took on board feedback from both the public and importers and decided to create two colour schemes; both with a gold-finish frame, that accentuate the neo-retro theme, highlight the curvaceous styling and align the models to our brand values.” While the limited-edition ‘Serie Oro’ of the Superveloce 800 has spoked wheels, the new variant has alloy wheels, which are now finished in gold on both new colours.

Underneath its gorgeous bodywork, the Superveloce 800 is based on the same platform as the MV Agusta F3 800. It uses the F3's chassis and engines, the latter being remapped for slightly better performance. The 798cc, three-cylinder engine produces 148hp at 13,000rpm and 88Nm of torque at 10,600rpm.

Which of the two colours do you think suits the Superveloce 800 better? Let us know in the comments section below.
