Next-generation Ford Endeavour: What it could look like

Ford Endeavour is one of the best looking full size SUV sold in India. It competes with cars like Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Alturas G4 and Isuzu MU-X in the segment. Ford recently updated the Endeavour to meet the new BS6 emission norms. It is one of the capable vehicle with ample amount of road presence and off-road capabilities. Ford is also working on a new generation Endeavour and was spied testing under heavy camouflage. Here we have a rendered image of the upcoming all-new Ford Endeavour from an artist that shows how it could look like.

The image has been created and uploaded by IAB on their website. Just like the current generation Endeavour which was a huge jump from the last one. The upcoming model is also likely to see a lot changes in terms of design and styling. As per the render, the next-gen Endeavour is likely to get a more wider grille at the front that gives it a more aggressive look.

Just like Hector and many other modern day SUVs, the artist has given an LED DRL on both sides of the grille. There is also a chrome garnish around the grille as well as a strip above the DRLs that give it a premium look. The projector type headlamps are placed on the lower side of the bumper and the turn indicators are placed right next to it. In comparison to the current version, the render misses out on skid plate at the front. Instead, it gets a black cladding for protection.

The image does not give a clear picture on how the side profile of the car would look like but, from what is visible it seems like the SUV will get more sharp character lines and the will also get a set of new alloy wheels. A chrome strip can also be seen running above the window. As of now we have no idea about the engine that will be available with the next-generation Endeavour.

As Ford had recently updated the engine to meet the BS6 norms, it is likely that Ford will offer the same engine. The BS6 Ford Endeavour is powered by a 2.0 turbocharged diesel engine and is also the only car in the country to get 10-speed automatic transmission.
