Renault Triber AMT launched: India’s LEAST priced automatic MPV
Renault has launched the much-awaited Triber MPV in the Indian market. Starting at Rs 6.18 lakhs or the base Triber AMT automatic, while the top-end version of the car is priced at Rs 7.22 lakhs. The Renault Triber AMT is available in three variants – RXL, RXT and RXZ. Renault India has started accepting the bookings for the Triber through the official website and the dealership network. The deliveries are expected as soon as the lockdown rules are relaxed in the future.
The new Easy-R AMT transmission is specifically designed to work efficiently in the Indian driving conditions as per the manufacturer. The booking amount is Rs 5,000. Here is a detailed price list of the Triber AMT.

Apart from the new addition of the AMT transmission, the Triber remains unchanged. It gets the same 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine. It generates a maximum power of 72 PS and peak torque of 96 Nm. The engine returns a maximum of 20 km/l. The Triber remains one of the most popular cars from the manufacturer and the launch of the much-awaited AMT automatic version will surely increase the demand for the car in the market.
The top-end version of the Triber offers a long list of features. Starting with the four-airbags, rear camera, rear defogger and rear wiper. The car also gets LED DRLs, 15-inch wheels, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and phone-based navigation system. The Triber is the only car in the market to offer a flexible seating option. It allows the customers to remove last row seats as per need. The car can become 7-seater to 3-seater without much of an effort. The 84-litre boot space with all the seven seats up can go up to 1,000 litres with three seats.
The Triber does not have direct competition in the market but it takes on the likes of Datsun Go+ in the market. The Triber, however, falls in the segment of Hyundai Grand i10, Maruti Suzuki Swift and Ford Figo.
