2020 Tata Harrier’s luxury features highlighted in a new TVC

Tata Motors launched the updated Harrier SUV in the market couple of months ago. Tata included more features to the mid-size SUV to compete with others in the segment. Tata Harrier is a popular SUV and competes with cars like Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, MG Hector in the mid-size SUV segment. Here we have a video that shows all the new luxury features that have been added to the 2020 version of Tata Harrier SUV.

The video has been uploaded by Tata Motors on their official youtube channel. The video focusses on all the new features in the SUV. On the outside, Harrier gets no changes at all. It still gets a dominant looking front with dual function LED DRL and projector type headlamps on the bumper. The only changes on the outside are the alloy wheels which get a new design, and two new colours: Calypso Red and Cocoa Sparkle.

On the inside, the Harrier gets signature oak brown interiors, premium perforated leather upholstery, 6-way electrically adjustable driver side seat with lumbar support, auto-dimming IRVMs, panoramic sunroof, touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SUV also gets audio system from JBL and the instrument cluster is part digital part analog. It offers features such as push button start, automatic climate control, cruise control and lots of storage spaces with a cooled storage under driver armrest.

The additions in the 2020 version are electrically adjustable driver seat, panoramic sunroof, redesigned ORVMs and auto-dimming IRVM. The main update that Harrier got with this update however is the inclusion of an automatic transmission. This feature was missing in the SUV since its launch last year. The Harrier is now available with a 6-speed Hyundai sourced automatic transmission mated to the same 2.0 litre Kryotec diesel engine,

The diesel engine in 2020 Harrier is now BS6 compliant and now generates 30 PS more power than before. it now generates a maximum of 170 Ps and 350 Nm of peak torque. Price for the Tata Harrier 2020 version starts at Rs 13.69 lakh, ex-showroom and the automatic version starts at Rs 16.25 lakh, ex-showroom. Tata had also showcased the 7-seater Gravitas SUV year.at the Auto Expo earlier this year and is expected launch it in the market later this year. The Gravitas will shares its engines and gearboxes with the Harrier.
