2021 Toyota Innova Crysta Facelift: What it could look like
Toyota Innova has been one of the most popular MPVs sold in the country. It is famous because of its space, comfort and reliability. We currently have the second generation Innova Crysta which was much more premium than the older Innova that it replaced. Now, the Crysta has also been in the market for a while and is now due for an update. Toyota is likely to give the Innova Crysta MPV a facelift next year and here we have an image that shows how the upcoming 2021 Innova Crysta might look like.
The render images have been shared by IAB on their website and first, the car looks quite different from the ongoing version. The Innova Crysta facelift or the 2021 version render has a revised front from the current version. The artist has completely changed the front of the MPV and it resembles a lot with the grille seen in Toyota Sienna MPV. The headlights have been redesigned and are probably LED. There is a chrome strip that covers the upper part of the headlamp and grille at the front gets a gloss black treatment with Toyota’s logo in the centre.
The bumper on the facelifted version has also been redesigned. It gets a huge airdam and sharp character lines run across the bumper. The fog lamps are also LED units. The side profile of the Innova Crysta pretty much remains the same. The only visible change on this part is the new alloy wheels design. The tail lights on the updated version might have the same design but the internals might be replaced with LED units.

Toyota recently updated the current gen Innova Crysta to meet the BS6 emission norms and of Toyota launches a facelifted version in the market next year, it is likely to get the same set of engine. The current version is powered by a 2.4 litre turbocharged diesel engine that generates a maximum of 148 Bhp and 343 nm of torque. The 2.7 litre petrol engine generates 164 Bhp and 245 Nm of torque.
Both petrol and diesel version come with manual and automatic transmission options. If Toyota pans to launch a facelifted version of the Innova Crysta in the market next year, Thailand will be the first market to get it. But as of now, there has been no confirmation from Toyota regarding a facelift and this is purely artist’s imagination.
