Honda offers discounts on Amaze & City sedans for the month of June 2020

Markets have started opening up and car manufacturers have also resumed operations at their factories and dealerships post the nationwide lockdown. Almost all car dealerships and are following precautionary, social distancing measures  recommended by authorities. As most manufacturers had not sold even one car in the last couple of months, attractive discount offers to lure customers are out in full force. Japanese car manufacturer Honda is offering attractive offers on their models and have also started taking bookings for BS6 facelift version of WR-V and Jazz.

Honda Amaze

The Amaze is currently the entry level model sold by Honda in India. The sub-4 meter compact sedan is available with BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engines. It is the best selling car for the manufacturer and it competes with cars such as the Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor in the compact sedan segment. Honda is offering a 5 year warranty, exchange bonus worth Rs 20,000 or 3 year AMC maintenance pack at 50 percent cost.

Honda City

Honda had plans to launch the all-new Honda City in Indian market back in March but, the lockdown and Corona virus pandemic delayed their plans. It is already being sold in Thailand and we have seen enough pictures of the same online. As the lockdown is gradually being lifted, they are expected to launch it soon. The next-gen City will be sold alongside the current City.

Meanwhile, Honda has launched the BS6 version of current City in Petrol version and it is currently being offered with hefty discounts depending up on the variants chosen by the customer. The City Vx (CVT), ZX (CVT) and Zx manual are being offered with a maximum discount of up to Rs 1 lakh. This includes a cash discount of Rs 50,000 and exchange bonus of Rs 50,000. A corporate discount is also available on these variants.

The Vx manual variant attracts a cash discount of Rs 37,000 and an exchange bonus worth Rs 35,000 along with a corporate discount. The Sv and V trims are being offered with a cash discount of Rs 25,000 and exchange bonus worth Rs 20,000 along with corporate discount. Honda will also be launching a BS6 version of their premium sedan Civic and flagship SUV CR-V in the market soon. Honda has started accepting bookings for petrol versions of the same, which indicates that diesel versions are likely to be discontinued. Honda is also working on facelifted versions of the Jazz and WR-V, both of which will soon be launched.
