Maruti launches ‘Maruti Suzuki Rewards’ scheme for customers

Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest car manufacturer has a variety of cars in their line up. They have small cars like Alto 800 to premium crossover S-Cross on offer. Maruti has now resumed operations in their dealerships across country post lockdown and have launched various programmes in the past to attract customers and improve customer sentiments. Now Maruti Suzuki has launched a brand new loyalty programme for its customers which is known as ‘Maruti Suzuki Rewards’. Under this programme or scheme, the manufacturer wants to encourage customers by providing them rewards to the product or services that they buy from the dealerships.

This scheme is aimed to attract more customers to dealerships and create a community. The customers get reward points for every purchase made at the dealerships. Rewards can be earned by an existing Maruti customer by purchasing an additional vehicle, buying Maruti genuine accessories, getting the vehicle serviced from an authorised dealership and referring your friend to buy a Maruti Suzuki vehicle.

This new scheme is offered to all the customers who buy vehicles from Maruti’s Arena and Nexa dealerships. The same scheme is available for customers opting for used cars via True Value dealerships. Maruti has already been offering loyalty programme to its existing customers in the form of AutoCard and MyNexa scheme. If they are interested in the latest Rewards scheme, there existing scheme can be changed to the Rewards programme.

This time around, Maruti has gone card-less and the customers enrolling in to this scheme can get all there details and notifications on their registered mobile number. Interested customers can enroll themselves for this scheme by logging in to the Maruti Suzuki or Nexa website. The points collected can be utilised by customer during purchase of a vehicle, service, genuine accessories or extending warranty and insurance of the vehicle.

Maruti has also informed that there will be tier system where customers in this scheme will be divided in four categories namely Member, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Customers will be ranked on the basis of their transaction and their interaction with the brand. Such customers will also be getting some exclusive offers and also a chance to attend some exclusive events. Now that market leader Maruti has come up with a Rewards Program, expect other major car makers to unveil similar offerings in the times to come.
