Maruti Suzuki S-Presso S-CNG BS6 launched

Maruti Suzuki had launched their S-Presso hatchback in the Indian market last year. This year at the Auto Expo, the manufacturer had showcased a CNG version of the S-Presso to the public. Recently they had started the production for this version and now, Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the BS6 compliant S-Presso CNG version in the market. Maruti was the first manufacturer in the country to offer a factory fitted CNG kit for its vehicle and currently has the largest range of CNG equipped cars in the market. The S-Presso CNG version is available in both LXi and VXi trims. Prices start from Rs. 4.84 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.

Speaking about the recent launch, Mr. Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited said,

With the launch of S-PRESSO BS6 S-CNG, we are strengthening our efforts towards sustainable green mobility. The S-PRESSO S-CNG is designed to deliver optimum performance, safety, engine durability, convenience, and mileage. Moreover, The S-PRESSO has successfully carved a niche for itself and fulfills the need for a dynamic, stylish and youthful mini SUV. This launch also helps augment our commitment towards Mission Green Million, announced at the Auto Expo 2020. Maruti Suzuki, with its unmatched portfolio of CNG and Hybrid vehicles, has been the preferred choice of customers owing to the affordability and high-fuel efficiency of its green vehicles.

As mentioned above, S-presso is available in both LXi and VXi trims and price for the LXi version is Rs 4.84 lakh, LXi(O) is priced at Rs 4.90 lakh and VXi and VXi(O) is priced at Rs 5.07 lakh and Rs 5.13 lakh respectively. All the prices are ex-showroom. Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is a tall boy hatchback which the manufacturer calls a mini SUV because of its SUV like stance at the front, boxy design,  tall seating position, and slightly higher ground clearance. The design of the car remains the same even in the CNG version.
