Piaggio Group launches online buying for Aprilia and Vespa

  • Online bookings for Aprilia and Vespa can be made for Rs 1,000
  • Special finance for bookings
  • Customers can opt for doorstep delivery

The Piaggio Group has introduced an online retail store for its Aprilia and Vespa two-wheelers. Two individual online platforms have been created to help potential buyers explore the Aprilia and Vespa product range, thereby eliminating the need to visit a showroom. Customers can browse through colour options, check out the technical specifications and make a booking by paying Rs 1,000. The company has also rolled out a set of attractive finance offers for the bookings.

The online platform also serves as a means for dealers to interact with customers. After a customer chooses a dealership, a representative will be available online to address queries related to the vehicle or discuss loan and EMI options. Once a customer has made their choice, all documents required for the registration can be submitted online. There's also the option of doorstep delivery.

While these online methods are in keeping with the need to maintain social distancing, Piaggo says that customers are free to visit an actual showroom. The company has already begun opening dealerships gradually as the lockdown is being relaxed across the country. The showrooms have been instructed to adhere to strict safety norms, maintain hygiene and use protective gear.
