Royal Enfield Interceptor modified by Eimor Customs is an eye-catcher

Royal Enfield motorcycles are very popular among people who love modifying two-wheelers. In the past, we have seen many tastefully modified examples of  Royal Enfields. The flagship models from the brand at the moment are the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. They are currently India’s most affordable twin cylinder motorcycles. Just like any other Royal Enfield motorcycle, the 650 twins also became popular in a short span of time and now here we have beautifully modified motorcycles based on Interceptor 650.

Hyderabad based Eimor customs is a well-known name in bike modification circle and this beautiful motorcycle is one of their latest creation. The Interceptor 650 from Eimor Customs is known as AFRA which in Arabic means Whitish red . Speaking about the modification, there are many. At the front, the headight itself has been changed and it now gets a guard as well. The stock front suspension on the Interceptor 650 was replaced with a gold anodized USD fork from BMW. The front mudguard has also been modified and is now shorter than the stock version. Th turn indicator are also modified.

Coming to the side profile, the signature Eimor custom paint job is revealed and it is a combination of silver and red. The frame has been painted in red along with blacked out engine area and the side panels, fuel tank gets a silver like finish. The wheels on this modified Interceptor have been resized and they now get Pirelli Scorpio Rally tyres. It retain the spoke wheel.

The seat on this motorcycle is shorter than stock version and it also comes with a stainless steel custom made exhaust. The twin analog instrument console on the motorcycle has been replaced with a new single fully digital unit. The mudguard at the rear has also been cut short and that exposes the rear tyre. The new tail light and turn indicator are mounted on the chopped mudguard.

Mechanically, no changes are made to this Interceptor and is still powered by the same 648-cc, twin cylinder, fuel injected, oil cooled engine that generates a maximum of 47 Bhp and 52 Nm of peak torque. Royal Enfield will be launching a brand new 350-cc motorcycle Meteor in the market later this year. The motorcycle will be based on a new platform that will underpin future Royal Enfields.
