Tata Motors now offering Altroz premium hatchback at an EMI of Rs 5,555: Details
Tata Motors launched their first ever premium hatchback Altroz in the market earlier this year. It competes with cars like Maruti Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20, Honda Jazz in the segment. Just like any other sector, automobile sector is also affected by the ongoing pandemic situation. In order to improve the customer sentiment s manufacturers are coming with attractive offers on their models. Tata Motors is now also offering discounts on their select BS6 range vehicles and is also now offering an attractive offer on the Altroz hatchback. Tata is now offering the premium hatchback with an EMI as low as Rs 5,555.
This is similar to the offer that was earlier announced by the manufacturer for its entry level hatchback Tiago. In this scheme a customer who is purchasing an all-new Altroz hatchback will be getting a customised EMI offer where he can pay Rs 5,555 as EMI for the first six months from the date of purchase. This amount is applicable on a loan of Rs 5.5 lakh and the loan is available for a maximum period of 5 years. After the first six months, the EMI amount will gradually increase over the period of 5 years.

Tata Altroz is a good looking premium hatchback which is based on ALFA platform. Altroz looks distinct with sleek looking headlamps, fog lamps integrated with LED DRLs under the headlamp, black and chrome strip running above and below the glossy black grille and decently wide air dam.
One of the major features that Altroz boasts about is the wide 90 degree opening doors for easy ingress and egress. It has a distinct looking rear with a dual LED tail light and dual tone boot. On the inside, it fairly loaded and gets features like cruise control, touchscreen infotainment screen, ambient lighting, multi function steering wheel and so on.
Altroz is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version of the car is equipped with a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated engine generating 85 Ps and 114 Nm of torque.. The diesel version however gets a 1.5 litre turbocharged unit which produces 90 Ps and 200 Nm of peak torque. It is not available with an automatic transmission but, it will be introduced in the market at a later stage. Prices for Tata Altroz starts from Rs 5.29 lakh, ex-showroom, making it cheaper than its key rivals – the Maruti Baleno and the Hyundai Elite i20.
