Tata Tiago, Nexon, Altroz & Gravitas Dark Editions: What they could look like
Earlier this year, Tata Motors launched updated BS6 versions of their Tiago, Tigor, Nexon in the market. They also launched their first ever premium hatchback Altroz in the market. They also showcased the upcoming Gravitas SUV at the Auto Expo which they will be launching in the market soon. Tata Harrier which is currently the flagship model from the manufacturer is available in Dark Edition. A render artist thought of creating digital renders of Tiago, Nexon, Altroz and Gravitas to see how the Dark Edition of these vehicles would look like.
The videos and render images have been shared by IAB and Motorbeam. Starting with the Tiago, the artist has removed all the chrome elements on the entry level hatchback. It is given an all black treatment and that gives it an aggressive look. There is a Dark edition badge on the side fender as well. The stock alloy wheels have been replaced with a multi spoke all-black alloy units. Overall, this makeover looks great on this small hatchback.

Next is the popular Nexon compact SUV. Tata launched the facelifted version of Nexon earlier this year and the render is based on that version only. Just like the Tiago, all the chrome or silver inserts in the car have been blacked out. The headlamps gets smoked effect and the tri-arrow designs elements have also been blacked out. The alloy wheels are of different design and they also get a gloss black finish. Just like Tiago, Nexon also gets Dark Edition badge on side fender.
Altroz is the only premium hatchback sold by Tata Motors. This competes with cars like Maruti Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20, Honda Jazz in the segment. Dark Edition of Altroz is slightly different from the ones that we saw above. The artist has given the whole car black treatment including the stock alloy wheels. The chrome strip on the lower part of the front grille has been retained and similarly, the chrome garnish on the ORVM can also be seen. Dark Edition badge is however missing in the Altroz.
When launched, the Tata Gravitas will be the flagship SUV from the manufacturer. It is basically a 6-seater version of the Harrier SUV. The design at the front looks the same as Harrier whereas the rear gets minor revisions. The Dark edition of the Gravitas looks beautiful just like Harrier. It has that massive road presence and the all black paint job gives it a butch look. the blacked out alloy wheels and the Dark Edition badge gives it bold look. Tata is expected to launch the Gravitas later this year or early next year.
