Watch all 3 Rolls Royce cars owned by the Ambanis on video

When you’re the richest family in a heavily populated country like India, you’re supposed to have an extremely luxurious lifestyle. A big part of that lifestyle is owning the best of vehicles to move around. We’re pretty sure there’s someone who is only responsible to decide which car gets added in the Ambani’s garage. Their collection has cars like Tesla Model S, Mercedes-AMG G-Wagen, Bentley Bentayga, Lamborghini Urus etc. However, let’s try to look at the collection they have from the famous British luxury car manufacturer, Rolls Royce. Here are three cars we want you to look at.

Rolls Royce Phantom Series VIII Extended Wheelbase (EWB)

Price: Rs 13.5 crore (Base price without customisation)

Rolls Royce Phantom Ambani Featured

The Phantom Series VIII with the extended wheelbase is by far the most expensive vehicle in the Ambani’s garage. It was bought last year but was widely used by the family in 2020. The Phantom owned by Ambani is based on the aluminium spaceframe platform and is famously called as the Architecture of Luxury. The Phantom Series VIII also is almost 30% lighter compared to the previous generation car and is one of the largest Rolls Royce cars.

The on-road price of the Phantom Series VIII is Rs.13.5 crore but that’s for a version without any added feature or customization. It comes without saying that the Ambanis definitely costs much more than the standard pricing of Rolls Royce Phantom Series VIII. We don’t have the exact specifications of the customization of the cars. It is powered with 6.75 litres, twin-turbocharged V12 engine which is able to produce a maximum power of 563 Bhp and a peak torque of 900 Nm. The torque peaks at 1700 rpm and the car also gets a satellite-linked transmission that can predict the gear changes depending on the traffic and the curve on the roads. The best part of the car is that in can do 0-100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds.

Rolls Royce Cullinan

Price: Rs 8 crore

Ambani Cullinan Featured

Before the Rolls Royce Phantom Series VIII, the Ambanis had added the Cullinan SUV to their garage. The Cullinan SUV is surprisingly the first SUV launched by Rolls Royce. It has been spotted multiple times with the Ambani family’s convoy along with their security cars like BMW X5 SUVs and Land Rover Range Rover SUVs. The Cullinan was bought in 2019 by the Ambanis. The car comes with a decent price tag of ex-showroom INR 6.95 crore, without any additional features. The speciality of the Cullinan is that it is based on a state-of-the-art air suspension that can be used to raise the car to increase the ground clearance and make the vehicle ready for off-roading.

The Cullinan SUV comes powered with a 6.8-litre V12, turbocharged petrol engine. The engine is able to produce a maximum of about 560 Bhp and a peak torque of 850 Nm. Its high-end gearbox comes with 8-speed transmission with a 4×4 system. The car also comes with 4 wheel steering system that helps to reduce the turning radius quite significantly. The highlight, however, remains the 360-degree camera view of the car with a unique bird’s eyes view camera mechanism, that gives helicopter view.

Rolls Royce Phantom Drop Head Coupe (DHC)

Price: Rs 9 crore

Ambani sons buy India's most expensive SUV and the costliest Rolls ...

The Phantom Drop Head Coupe was the most expensive Rolls Royce when it was launched in the market. Because of that, there are only a few Phantom DHCs in India and even Ambani rarely take their’s out. The Ambani’s Phantom DHC is covered in white and comes with a distinctive red coloured roof. We’re assuming this car primarily belongs to the youngest son – Anant Ambani as the car is either mostly spotted with him inside or having the car drive by as and when he goes out for his walks. Even this Rolls Royce Phantom DHC comes with the same 6.8-litre V12 turbocharged petrol engine that can generate a maximum power of 460 Bhp and a peak torque of 720 Nm. Even now, it is the most expensive convertible for sale in our country.
