MG Gloster luxury SUV launch date revealed: To take on Toyota Fortuner

MG Motor India is all set to launch their fourth and the most expensive model Gloster in the Indian market. MG will be launching the Gloster luxury SUV in the market on 8th of October 2020. This luxury SUV will take on the likes of Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Alturas and Isuzu MU-X in the segment. MG has already started accepting bookings for this luxury SUV.

MG Gloster is a huge SUV. It is longer, taller and wider than the Ford Endeavour SUV. Gloster looks quite premium from the outside and offers number unique features too. It has a wide and premium looking front grille with chrome and brushed aluminium inserts in it. The dual projector headlamps have a sleek design and there is dual function DRL integrated in it too.

One the side profile, it gets 19 inch diamond cut alloy wheels, chrome handle bars, chrome inserts on the window and brushed aluminium finish on the roof rail too. It gets a large Gloster badge on the boot with all LED tail lamps. The lower part of the bumper gets faux quad exhaust tips.

On the inside, the Gloster offers a host of features like, heated seats, massage function for driver seat, touchscreen infotainment screen, connected car features, voice commands like any other MG vehicle, huge panoramic sunroof, 360 degree camera, leather seats, 3-zone climate control, wireless charging and so on.  It offers Level 1 autonomous features like automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and automatic park assist with the top-end variant.

It is a proper SUV with 4WD on demand. It comes with different drive modes to tackle different terrains. Gloster will be available in 4 trim options. The trims are Super, Smart, Sharp and Savvy. Only the top-end trim will offer the autonomous features. MG has played well in the past when it comes to pricing. MG Gloster is a capable luxury SUV with a long list of features. Like other MG vehicles in the country, Gloster is also expected to get a very competitive price tag. It’ll be the biggest and most luxurious SUV launched by MG Motor in India.
