India’s first Hyundai Creta to get Audi-style Matrix LED tailbar light [Video]

Hyundai Creta has been without any doubt, the most popular SUV in its segment. The older generation had ruled our streets and the new version that got launched earlier this year is also repeating history. It competes with the likes of Kia Seltos and MG Hector in the segment. It is so popular that aftermarket accessories for the all-new Creta have already reached market and people have even started installing it. Here we have one such lower trim Hyundai Creta that has been installed with several aftermarket accessories which includes matrix LED tail bar light. This design was first seen on the latest generation Audi TT sportscar.

The video has been uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on their youtube channel. The video starts by showing the Audi like LED bar that is installed on the boot. Creta already gets an LED bar on the boot lid but, this aftermarket unit is even longer and connects the tail lights. It is an Audi like matrix LED bar that is in sync with the turn indicators. The fit and finish of the light looks very good.

As mentioned above, the Creta seen in the video is lower trim and does not get many features that are seen in the higher variants. The model seen in the video did not get a shark fin antenna and fog lamp. VIG Auto Accessories installed a genuine Hyundai shark fin antenna and fog lamp. These changes make the compact SUV look quite premium.

Side profile of the car gets a rain visors, and a chrome garnish on the window line. Apart from that the ORVMs now get auto fold function. On the inside, the Hyundai Creta gets a ice pearl interior which gives it an upmarket feel. The steering now gets mounted control on it and is wrapped with soft leather. The door pads also get ice pearl finish to it. There are illuminated scuff plates on doors and the aftermarket infotainment system shows feed from reverse parking camera which is again an accessory. Apart from that it gets 3D mats, lamination, roof rails as an accessory.

Hyundai Creta is available in three engine options in India. Hyundai has announced that over 60 percent of their customers are opting for diesel variants. There is a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that is available with a manual and CVT gearbox. The naturally aspirated petrol motor makes 113 Bhp-142 Nm. The other petrol engine is a 1.4 litre turbocharged unit which is available with a 7-speed DCT gearbox only.

The turbo petrol motor makes 140 Bhp-238 Nm. The popular diesel variant uses a 1.5 litre unit that is available with a manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox option. 115 Bhp-250 Nm are the outputs of the turbo diesel motor. The diesel motor is offered with 6 speed manual and 6 speed torque converter automatic gearbox options. Those who want the turbo petrol engine on the Creta with a manual gearbox can buy the Kia Seltos, which gets this combination.
