Royal Enfield launches custom helmets

Royal Enfield has extended its MiY (Make-It-Yours) initiative to helmets and T-shirts.

  • 7,000 unique options to choose from

  • Three helmet types – open face, full face and Urban Trooper

  • Multiple colour options in matte and gloss finishes

It’s only been a few months since Royal Enfield launched its MIY configurator for its motorcycles, and the company has now expanded to helmets and T-shirts. The helmet configurator starts off by letting you choose from among an open face, full-face or an Urban Trooper helmet.

After which, you are taken to a page that allows you to choose from multiple paints and graphics. It even lets you select the colour of the fabric on the inside of the helmet. Royal Enfield say there are close to 7,000 unique options to choose from for customising helmets. The programme also allows customers to personalise their helmet by letting them add text of their choice, with up to 14 and 20 characters in the 1st and 2nd row, respectively.

Speaking about the MiY initiative and the launch of MiY on apparel, Vinod K. Dasari, CEO, Royal Enfield, said, “We are extremely happy to extend the Make It Yours initiative to our range of apparel, including T-shirts and helmets. This brings alive the true potential of MiY, as enthusiasts can now wear their personality, on or off the saddle.”

With MiY for T-shirts, buyers can choose from 15,000 options including text, decals, graphics, colours, and several others.

Prices for the custom helmets start at Rs 3,200, while the custom T-shirts are priced from Rs 1,250. The customised helmets and T-shirts are expected to be delivered to customers within a period of 15-30 days.
