Eastern India Motoring Group’s vintage car show deemed a success

The Eastern India Motoring Group (EIMG), a group of vintage and classic vehicle owners, organised a vintage car show at Lake Club Kolkata on March 7, 2021.

Shrivardhan Kanoria, a renowned collector, handpicked around 80 heritage vehicles, which were on display across 10 classes. These classes were inspired by some of the best international concours.

Some worthy classes included a Rolls-Royce Class, which had five immaculate Rolls-Royce cars on display including the oldest car at the show and star attraction – a 1925 Rolls-Royce Phantom 1, owned by the president and founder of EIMG, Shrivardhan Kanoria. Another noteworthy class was the Fiat Users Club Of Calcutta Cars (FUCC), a subsidiary group of EIMG.

“Such shows are the call of the day when it comes to enjoying this Heritage Vehicle hobby. I feel it as an integral responsibility towards this movement and hence put in my time and effort towards organising these events throughout the year for the benefit and encouragement of the Heritage Vehicle owners of Eastern India,” said Kanoria.

The show was a grand success with participants and vintage car enthusiasts eagerly looking forward to the next show.
