2020 Hyundai Creta base trim: Walkaround video reveals more
Hyundai is India’s second largest car manufacturer in the country after Maruti Suzuki. They have a wide range of cars in their line up in India and one of the popular models among them is the Hyundai Creta which recently got an update. It competes with cars like Kia Seltos, MG Hector in the segment. The 2020 Hyundai Creta was officially launched in the country a last week and it has already started reaching the dealerships. Even the deliveries of the same has already started. Here we have a video that shows what all to expect from a base petrol model of the all-new Creta.
The video has been uploaded by HARMAN MOTOR SHOW on their youtube channel. The video shows what all features does the base EX trim of the petrol engined Hyundai Creta gets. The video starts by showing the exterior. At the front, it gets a wide grille at the front with no chrome elements in it. The headlight unit gets the boomerang shaped, split LED DRL, projector type headlamps and the turn indicator is placed on the lower part of the bumper. There is also a silver colour faux skid plate at the bottom.
Coming to the side profile, the all-new Creta base trim does not get any alloy wheels. It get a body colour ORVM with turn indicators integrated to it. ORVMs in the base trim are electrically adjustable. IT has black cladding along the wheel arches and the side of the body and does not get any roof rails.
Towards the rear, the design remains the same with split LED tail lamps, faux skid plate and huge Creta badging on the centre of the boot. The rear spoiler gets a dual tone finish. On the inside, even the base trim of the Creta does not disappoint in terms of features it offers. It gets a dual tone interior with a flat bottom steering wheel and a touchscreen infotainment system. The seats get fabric upholstery and even the rear seat passenger get dedicated AC vents.
The petrol version of the Creta gets a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated engine that generates 115 Ps and 144 Nm of torque. Base trim is only available with a manual transmission. The EX trim of the all-new Hyundai Creta is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh ex-showroom. The compact SUV takes on the Kia Seltos and Renault Duster. In terms of pricing, it even competes with the MG Hector, Mahindra XUV500 and Tata Harrier.
