2020 Volkswagen Polo 1.0 MPI price, variants explained
In this transition from BS4 to BS6, Volkswagen dropped the 1.5-litre diesel unit altogether from the line-up, making the Polo a petrol-only hatchback. Furthermore, besides updating the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder MPI engine, the German carmaker also replaced the higher-capacity 105hp, 1.2-litre, four-cylinder TSI turbo-petrol engine with a smaller and more powerful 110hp, 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol unit.
As things stand, the 1.0-litre MPI engine is available in the Trendline trim and the Comfortline trim, while the 1.0-litre TSI will be available with the Highline Plus and GT Line trims. It is also worth mentioning that these models have not received any visual or equipment changes over the Polo facelift launched late last year.
We walk you through what the 1.0-litre MPI engine equipped variants have to offer in terms of features.
