Corona Virus: Watch how the MG Hector is sanitized before delivery [Video]

Amidst the chaos created by the Corona Virus in the country, like every other sector automobile sector has also been affected. car manufacturers have suspended operations in their manufacturing plants because of this pandemic. This is basically a time where general public should take more precautions to contain the virus. Manufacturers like MG Motors have come up with a way to minimise the risk of spreading the virus by sanitizing the vehicles before delivering it to the customers. Here we have a video that shows what all measures are taken by MG Motors at dealership level to keep the everything under check.
The video has been uploaded by MG Motors on the ir official youtube channel and focuses on showing sanitization activities followed at the dealerships. The video starts by showing that both customers and staff at the dealership go through thermal screening before entering the showroom. The showroom is even providing masks, sanitizers to all its customers and it placed at different touch points inside the showroom.
MG has made gloves and masks mandatory for all its staff and they have also directed the staff to wash their hands frequently. They now greet their customers with ‘Namaste’ instead of handshake and the staff is asked to remove the MG interior in front of the customer and sanitize the interior to assure him that they have taken precautions before handover. MG is also taking similar measures when they deliver the car at the door step of customer after servicing. By delivering the car at door step of the customer MG is trying to reduce the risk by not coming into contact with any other person.

MG Motors made their debut in the Indian market last year and currently has two models in the market. One of them is the MG Hector SUV which became popular among the buyers in a short span of time because of its premium looks, features and of course the price. The second model is an all electric SUV eZS which was launched earlier this year. MG will be launching more models in India soon. The precautionary measures taken by the MG brand is commendable and is something that we expect other manufacturers to follow. All car makers across India have shut down their factories due to the corona virus. Dealerships and service centers are also shut thanks to the lockdown imposed by the Government across India. The car industry is hoping that the government comes up with an economic stimulus package.
