Tata Nexon Facelift: New official video shows the SUV inside out
Tata Nexon is one of the popular compact SUV in the sub-4 meter SUV segment and recently received a facelift. The Tata Nexon competes with cars like Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300 and Ford EcoSport. It is one of the safest car in the segment with 5-star rating in Global NCAP crash test. As mentioned above, the Nexon received a facelift as part of it’s BS6 transition and now looks more matured than before. Here we have a video that shows the 2020 Tata Nexon inside out with all the new features and changes.
This is the official video of the Tata Nexon which shows all the features of the car. Starting from the exteriors, the video shows the brand new design of the headlamps that looks sleeker and come with projector type lamps as standard. There is a dual function LED DRL that acts as turn indicator too. Another change at the front is the new gloss black grille which gives it an upmarket feel.
Coming down towards the bumper, the air dam gets a new design with tri-arrow elements in it and with a grey colour faux skid plate. The fog lamps area has also been redesigned and gets a dual tone finish to it. Side profile of the 2020 Nexon looks almost same as that of the BS4 version except for the set of new alloy wheels. At the rear, it gets a clear lens split tail lamp unit with LED lights in it and the Nexon badging is placed right on the centre of the boot. The rear bumper has also been redesigned and looks more muscular than before.
On the inside, the Nexon follows the tri-arrow design theme. It can be seen on the dashboard and seats. The changes on the inside include a new feature called XpressCool that helps bring down the cabin temperature at a faster rate. Other features include, an electric sunroof, cruise control feature, fully digital instrument cluster, rear AC vent and connected car features. It retains most of the features that were present in the older version.
2020 Tata Nexon is powered by the same set engine that are now BS6 compliant. It gets a 1.2 litre turbo petrol engine that generates 120 Ps and 170 Nm of torque and a 1.5 litre turbo diesel engine generating 110 Ps and 260 Nm of peak torque. it continues to offer AMT transmission alng with manual on both petrol and diesel trims. Price for the 2020 BS6 Tata Nexon now starts at Rs 6.95 lakh for petrol and Rs 8.45 lakh for diesel (all the prices are ex-showroom).
