2021 Hyundai Elantra revealed completely in official video
The all-new seventh-generation Hyundai Elantra was expected to be launched at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show but the event got cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak around the world. Hyundai has revealed the pre-production version of the all-new Elantra and has released an explainer video that shows the car from all around and explains all about it.
The all-new Hyundai Elantra is in its seventh-generation. It gets an all-new design starting and it now follows the new Sensuous Sportiness theme that will be seen in a lot of new Hyundai cars including the all-new Elite i20 that will be launched in the Indian market later this year. The car shown in the video is a pre-production model and there is a disclaimer saying that the production version may not get all the accessories.
Nonetheless, this video explains the all-new Hyundai Elantra pretty well. Following the new design theme, the Elantra comes with an all-new grille that gets a beautiful 3D design and looks exotic. The all-black grille has sharp-looking headlamps on both the ends and the turn indicators are smartly integrated to them. The new Elantra also gets new dual-tone alloy wheels that will be available in 15, 16 and 17-inch variations depending on the car’s trim level. The side of the all-new Elantra gets a busy design. There are deep creases that create wedges and add a sharp look to the car. The rear of the car gets a coupe-like design. The tail lamp is end-to-end and there is huge Elantra moniker. The boot lip is sharp and looks extremely good on the car.
The cabin also gets an all-new look. The all-new Elantra will get a digital smart key that can be embedded to your smartphone or a keycard. There are a massive 10.25-inch all-digital cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment system. The infotainment system gets BlueLink system that can be connected to the Internet. The dashboard gets end to end AC vents design that looks extremely good.
The all-new Hyundai Elantra will be launched in the international markets with an all-new hybrid powertrain. The car is expected to reach the markets like the USA and UK by the end of this year and the Indian version will be updated in 2021. However, we may not get to see the hybrid version of the Hyundai Elantra in India.
