Up to Rs 1.03 lakh off on BS6 Hyundais via Click to Buy

Hyundai is offering sizeable discounts on a number of its BS6 cars. However, these discounts are only available to select sections of people, including health care professionals, government employees, chartered/ cost accountants and teachers.
We have confirmed from our dealer sources that the discounts will be available to these select groups till the end of April 2020. Additionally, these discounts can be availed from Hyundai’s recently launched ‘Click to Buy’ online purchasing platform, which is now available across the country. This service allows customers to purchase Hyundai cars without the need to visit the dealership. After the model is booked and purchased online, the nearest dealership will contact the owner and facilitate delivery and take care of other formalities.
We have compiled a list of all the models with discounts offered, below.

Hyundai Elantra

Save up to Rs 1.03 lakh
Hyundai gave the Elantra executive sedan a mid-cycle facelift late last year. This update got a BS6-compliant 152hp, 2.0-litre petrol engine, an increase in the number of features and an updated design. The Elantra facelift now even gets a BS6-compliant 115hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine. What the Elantra has going for it are its excellent refinement, connected-car features (Hyundai Blue Link) and modern design. The Honda Civic and Skoda Octavia competitor’s low seating might be a mark against it for some, though. The above mentioned buyer groups could avail up to Rs 1.03 lakh off on the new Elantra petrol, including a cash discount, exchange bonus and corporate discounts.

Hyundai Grand i10

Save up to Rs 48,000
The Hyundai Grand i10 is now a petrol-only model, ever since the launch of the i10 Nios. Having been on sale in our market since 2013, with a number of updates along the way, the Grand i10 is now showing its age. However, the most recent update did provide the hatchback with a BS6-compliant 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine that comes paired to a sole 5-speed manual gearbox. This means the budget hatchback can persevere in the BS6 era and its ease of use and cabin quality only help its case. Discounts and benefits worth up to Rs 48,000 are on offer via the ‘Click to Buy’ platform for select customers.

Hyundai Santro

Save up to Rs 43,000
The current generation of Hyundai’s smallest offering in our market – the Santro – was launched back in 2018. Powering the hatchback is a BS6-compliant version of the 69hp/ 99Nm, 1.1-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine it had at launch. This entry-level hatchback competes with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Celerio and the Wagon R, along with the Tata Tiago and the Datsun Go. For its class, the Santro’s refinement is excellent and the cabin is well-finished and quite spacious. However, it lacks some creature comforts and its top-spec versions are on the pricey side for the segment. Still, select customers looking to buy this tall-boy hatchback can receive up to Rs 43,000 in benefits on the higher-spec variants. Those looking for the base Era version can get benefits of up to Rs 33,000.

Hyundai i20

Save up to Rs 38,000
The Hyundai Elite i20 is currently available in a petrol-only form with a BS6-compliant 83hp, 1.2-litre engine, which it shares with the Grand i10, Nios and Aura. The 90hp, 1.4-litre diesel engine has been discontinued. An all-new Hyundai i20 is slated to arrive in the coming months and it’ll come with the 100hp 1.5-litre unit that is currently offered in the BS6 diesel Venue. The upcoming all-new i20 is one of the reasons why select buyers can avail discounts and benefits up to Rs 38,000 this month. The Hyundai i20 currently rivals the Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza, Honda Jazz and Tata Altroz in our market.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios

Save up to Rs 28,000
Hyundai’s Grand i10 Nios is currently only available in BS6 petrol form with the 83hp, 1.2-litre engine. The upgraded 75hp, 1.2-litre diesel unit is yet to be launched, but it will be available soon, possibly once the nationwide lockdown due to the coronavirus ends. In essence, the Nios is the next generation of the Grand i10, and it improves on its predecessor in almost all areas, particularly in terms of the cabin finish, space on offer and its value for money quotient. The Grand i10 Nios competes with the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Ford Figo.  Select customers can receive benefits and discounts worth Rs 28,000 on the ‘Click to Buy’ platform.
