More Yamaha bikes to get Bluetooth connectivity

The Yamaha FZ-X was launched in two variants and the more expensive one (Rs 1.20 lakh, ex- showroom, Delhi) features Bluetooth connectivity. However, the FZS-FI, FZS-FI Vintage were the first Yamaha offerings to get the tech. The next models to get the connectivity feature will be the updated Fascino and the Ray ZR 125 the company showcased a few days ago.

The system on the FZ-X allows you to pair your smartphone via the Yamaha Connect application to enable features like call and SMS alerts and more. While this system does have a unique feature where it allows you to compare your fuel efficiency data with other Yamaha owners, it misses out on turn-by-turn navigation. That being said, the company has mentioned that it’s working on evolving the technology, which means we expect more features to be added.

Models like the YZF-R15, MT-15, FZ25 and FZS 25 are priced higher than  the aforementioned offerings, but miss out on the tech. As a result, we believe these bikes will be next in line to get the feature.
