Hero launches online two-wheeler buying service

Hero has joined the likes of Suzuki and Harley-Davidson and introduced an online two-wheeler buying service. Customers can now use the online sales platform (eSHOP) that is integrated into Hero’s website to buy the two-wheeler of their choice.

The company has said that the eSHOP will guide the customers through all the relevant steps of making a decision, buying the vehicle and taking delivery. The online portal offers services like the latest on-road price, dealer inventory status, online document submission, finance options, sales order preview, VIN allocation, and more.

Not only can the customer select the variant and colour of the two-wheeler they like, but also the dealership they would like to use as well. The selected dealer will assign a sales assistant who will handle all the customers’ queries and guides them through the steps like documentation, finance, invoicing, insurance, registration, and optional home delivery service.

During delivery, the signed documents required by the  RTO will be collected from the customer. Hero is also allowing customers to pre-book their service appointments at their nearest workshop. This will reduce the amount of time spent at the workshop by customers during vehicle pick-up and drop.
